bloodgas.org has interviewed two Australian healthcare services - St. Andrews Hospital in Adelaide and the South Eastern Area Laboratory Services (SEALS) located at the St. George Hospital in Sydney - that have succeeded in diminishing preanalytical errors. The process they went through not only improved the accuracy of results, which increased staff confidence, but also improved communication between the POC sites and the laboratory.
